Migrations
von Charlotte McConaghy:
Franny Stone, never held too long in one place, driven by some sort of yearning for going “away”, leads a rather restless life. Much like the birds she is intending to follow on their supposedly last migration to Antarctica. This flock of Arctic terns belongs to the few remaining birds on Earth and will, due to the lack of fish in the Oceans, soon die out, as well. Franny Stone is decided upon heading South with them. But she has to find a vessel with a captain willing to take the risk, first. And the risk to take will not only be his – embarking on the journey will be a game changer for everyone taking part, especially for Franny.

PPS.: We apologize for using the “wrong” kind of bird species for the photo – Alas, our personal library-Arctic tern was currently not available. ;-)
